Netball’s increase in popularity has seen its place is moved by that the organisers of this 2022 Commonwealth Games from Coventry into the NEC.

“While the Coventry Arena is an excellent venue, this movement into the NEC will raise the potential considerably,”
“This [increased capability ] will be welcomed by the netball family and the substantial fan base that our game now attracts, as seen in the new Netball World Cup at July 2019 when over 110,000 tickets had been sold.”
The Commonwealth Games will be held at venues across Birmingham and the West Midlands in July 27 until August 2, 2022.
