Nottingham Forest Director Sabri Lamouchi has been named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for September.
Lamouchi added two and is made Forest hard to beat sheets during the month, which put the bases over Barnsley and Swansea.
Was revealed at Stoke at the 3-2 win, adding up to an ideal nine points .
Lamouchi explained:I am really pleased and happy because that which we have done in September was simply incredible. Thank you to the team , to the fans for the service and of course the staff, but the players because the distinction is made by them and they did a very fantastic job.
We had three games in September but in the last six games we obtained 16 points, this isnt nothing; it is amazing. Today keep working to keep this rhythm and we must keep moving. We are aware that its extremely hard but weve given the players a lot of rest since they deserved it, but we will begin again and again concentrate on Wigan, Hull, Reading, Luton and then the most important match for the lovers against Derby.
This is a great moment and were going to enjoy it but we know the trip is long and hard. We know that we will face some bad moments but we must keep workingout. Well enjoy now because whats done is done, and we will concentrate on the future and that is Wigan away.
Wigan Athletic defender Chey Dunkley was appointed the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month.
In a group that was goal-shy, Dunkleys three goals in as many matches proved as crucial.
Against Charlton, his talent was showcased by them using a header and a volley.
Dunkley said:Im really proud to acquire the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for September. It had been an month for the team concerning results and also on an individual level.
Ive been working on that part of the match [scoring goals in set-pieces] with our first-team coach Anthony Barry, so it is pleasing to start reaping the benefits.
Supervisor: Fleetwood, Joey Barton
Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month.
It turned out to be a month for Fleetwood, with their 10 points from four unbeaten games matched by 10 goals, three in each of the away games in Southend and Shrewsbury. Barton has bedded within his summertime.
Barton stated:It is really nice that we get outside recognition for the work that weve done. The players have been tremendous this year, which award is for our staff who work across our branches.
I believe the award is really a huge vindication for all of the work that everybody has completed and that I accumulate this for everyone at the football club.
Theres a good deal of trust in the surroundings, and everyone believes they have a part to playwith, from the kitchen team, to the people who do the bud, to the laundry room, everything.
Player: Bristol Rovers, Jonson Clarke-Harris
Bristol Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris was named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month.
It wasnt only his five goals in five games, including a stunning overhead kick against Accrington, which stood outside, but the fact that every one of his attempts was either an equaliser and also the target that gave Rovers an outcome.
Clarke-Harris said:I am delighted to win this award to the back of what was a great month for both the team and myself. Throughout Septemberthe lads clicked on the pitch and we are striving to carry this great momentum .
The purpose against Accrington was probably my own highlight. I couldnt really remember how I ended up trying the bicycle kick, but it happened and the next thing I knew the ball was in the back of the net! Its been a pleasant month and today we look to build on this round the approaching games.
Manager: Cheltenham, Michael Duff
Cheltenham Town manager Michael Duff has been appointed the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month.
The bases Duff laid last year have been built on spectacularly so far this effort. Strong in the home, it had been the Robins 2-0 victories at Salford and Plymouth which attested that his tactical nous, making 13 points.
Duff said:The staff are only a reflection of exactly what the players perform. Its obviously a nice award but its more for the entire club actually because the board, the staff, the supporters, the players – and Ive consistently said it if the team on the pitch do well and winning, then we all win.
It is a nice award to acquire but I think it is more a sign of recognition that other individuals beyond Cheltenham are beginning to recognise the work thats been happening for quite a while.
Player: Walsall, James Clarke
Walsall defender James Clarke was named the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month for September.
Central defenders arent designed to score goals just like his thunderbolt in Crawley or his late bicycle-kick winner from Scunthorpe. Clarkes existence was critical at the back as Walsall kept four clean sheets in five games.
Clarke said:Im thrilled to win the award. Its the very first time that Ive won something and winning it implies that a good deal.
To pick up three wins and three blank sheets was a great effort from the team and to add a couple of objects to that as well was the cherry on top of everything.
